Datalystica at AAAR 2024

We are excited to announce that Datalystica will be participating in the AAAR 2024, October 21-25 in Albuquerque, NM.

We are thrilled that Datalystica will be represented at an American conference for the first time at AAAR 2024! We are eager to engage with fellow source apportionment enthusiasts and deeply appreciate the opportunity to connect with both new and familiar faces who share our passion for this vital field. At Datalystica, we highly value the power of collaboration, believing that the most innovative ideas come from diverse perspectives. We look forward to listening to different insights that can broaden our understanding and enhance our software, helping us to better serve your needs.

We are more than happy to discuss the latest advances in source apportionment and how we implemented those in our software solutions (SoFi Pro, SoFi RT). But we are equally happy to also simply exchanging ideas. Also, if you are not sure if source apportionment could be interesting for project, don’t hesitate to stop by. Let’s discover how you too can benefit from SoFi. Our team will be available throughout the event, you are very much welcomed to visit our booth #406.

Park InnovAARE inauguration

We were thrilled to attend the official inauguration ceremony of Park InnovAARE. In just four years, the Switzerland Innovation Park in Villigen has become a state-of-the-art, research-oriented innovation park. The innovation park sits next to the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI). Together with other start-ups and technology transfer centers, we from Datalystica, moved in at the beginning of the year.

Last Thursday, the Innovaare Park celebrated its official opening in the presence of Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, the Governor of the Canton of Aargau Dieter Egli, PSI Director Prof. Dr. Christian Rüegg and the President of Switzerland Innovation, Andreas Rickenbacher, as well as numerous guests from politics, business and research.

It was an honor to have our company showcased at the table during the inauguration of Park innovAARE. The event provided us with a unique opportunity to connect with new and interesting people from politics, science and other start-ups. The diverse perspectives and shared passion for innovation left a lasting impression on us, reaffirming our belief in the power of collaboration and collective action. We are looking forward to a fruitful future at Park InnovAARE.

SoFi 9.5.0 and 8.6.0 available

We just released SoFi 9.5.0 and SoFi 8.6.0, they are now available from our website. While this new SoFi version includes also some minor bug fixes, we added some major new features:

  • You can now more easily constrain to zero with the new option “zero (0)”.
  • If you are using HR data, you might be happy to hear that with the newest SoFi version you can create your own families, based on the chemical formula or single elements. Furthermore, we added more HR-specific plots to SoFi, such as mass defect, van Krevelen and carbon number distribution plots. Depending on the plot, color-coding based on families, H:C, O:C or number of oxygen atoms is possible. We also updated the overview plot so that you can color-code here also by families. For more details, check out our manual.
  • Combined PMF for SoFi RT is now available and it is multi-time safe.

Check out the full SoFi history for all new features and bug fixes.
